Event Overview
The Pat Campbell Fighting Cancer 5K is an annual event held in Toronto, Ohio, during St. Patrick's Day weekend. The course runs along the Ohio River and is USATF-certified and professionally timed. This event serves as the primary fundraiser for a local 501(c)3 charity that provide financial assistance to cancer patients and their families throughout the Ohio Valley.
The race is the first of four local events required to complete the Gem City Quadfecta Challenge. Participants are encouraged to wear themed clothing, such as kilts or green outfits, to commemorate the anniversary of the event.
