The route leads through several local areas, including the Lakeview Circle neighborhood, Calcutta Square Plaza, Dunham's Plaza, Busy Beaver, and Giant Eagle plazas. The finish line is situated behind Town Hall and the fire department.
Timing and Awards
The race uses a timing clock located at the start and finish lines, though participants are not individually chipped. Recognition is provided for several categories, including the first-place overall runner and the top two male and female runners. Special awards are also designated for the first-place first responder. Given the Halloween theme, prizes are awarded for the best male and female runner costumes.
