Event
The Original Swanage Triathlon Festival takes place on 28 June 2026 at Sandpit Field, Shore Road, Swanage, Dorset (BH19 1NP). The event is set in the seaside town of Swanage on the Isle of Purbeck. The open water swim is in Swanage Bay. The bike courses include several hill climbs and a notable descent on Kingston Hill. The run routes head north out of Swanage and up onto Ballard Down Ridge, an area of chalk downland on the Purbeck Hills. Parking is available on surrounding roads and at the Main Beach (Victoria Avenue); long stay car park information is available from the town council. The event is organised by Challenging Events Ltd. A Code of Conduct asks athletes to show respect and good sportsmanship. Volunteers are used for marshalling roles and are offered a free entry to an event in return.

- Standard - 1500 m swim, 38 km bike, 10 km run
- Sprint - 750 m swim, 23 km bike, 6.5 km run
- Aquathlon - 750 m swim, 6.5 km run
- Aquabike - 1500 m swim, 40 km bike
- Standard Relay - 1500 m swim, 38 km bike, 10 km run
- Aquathlon RELAY - 750 m swim, 6.5 km run
Entry prices range from £50 to £105. Age minimums: Sprint, Aquathlon, and Aquathlon RELAY open to entrants aged 15 and over; Standard and Standard Relay open to entrants aged 17 and over; Aquabike open to entrants aged 18 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
