Event
The event is set on the coastal path at Milford on Sea and passes Sturt Pond Nature Reserve. The route is mixed terrain and follows an out-and-back lap along the coast, with views of the Isle of Wight. Laps measure 5.3 km (3.28 miles). Participants may choose their total distance, with options ranging from 5K to ultra-marathon. All finishers who complete one lap or more receive a medal. Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under, as per UK Athletics rules.
Practical information
Race numbers are collected on the day at registration before starting. There is an aid and drinks table at the start/finish of each lap offering a selection of savoury and sweet items. There is an area to leave personal items. Organisers do not provide plastic cups. Public toilets are available at the start/finish area and along the route. Paid parking is available at the start/finish. Public transport is encouraged; the nearest bus stop is Whitby Road and the nearest train stations are New Milton and Lymington Town.
