Event details
Wight Lines is a mixed-terrain running event on the coastal path at Hordle Cliff West, Cliff Rd, Milford on Sea. The course runs along the coast and passes Sturt Pond Nature Reserve, with views of the Isle of Wight. Laps use an out-and-back route of 5.3 km (3.28 miles). Participants may choose their own distance, from 5K up to an ultra-marathon. All finishers of one lap or more receive a medal. The event is scheduled for 25 October 2026.
Logistics
Entry fees are listed between £37.50 and £39.50. Number pick-up is on race day at the event registration before running. An aid and drinks table will be available at the start/finish of each lap with a selection of savoury and sweet items; there will also be an area to leave personal items. Organisers do not provide plastic cups. Public toilets are available at the start/finish and along the route. Paid parking is available at the start/finish and public transport or car sharing is encouraged. Nearest public transport links named include a local bus stop at Whitby Road and the train stations New Milton and Lymington Town. The event is licensed by the TRA and will be run under UKA rules; distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under. Final instructions will be sent by email before the event.
