The One in the Park: Hyde Park 5k & 10k London
The event takes place at Hyde Park Bandstand in London on 27 September 2026. The route uses the park’s smooth tarmac pathways and passes landmarks including monuments, statues and the Serpentine Lake, with views across rose gardens, meadows and wildfowl. The course is a 5km loop; 10km runners complete two laps.
Distances:
- 10k - two laps of the 5km loop; age 15+.
- 5k - one lap of the 5km loop; age 11+.
Entries include chip timing, a finisher medal and on-course refreshments. Race pack collection is available from 08:00 at the event village registration tent; participants should not expect to receive items by post. Registration on the day may be available.
Facilities listed for the event include suitable medical cover, a bag drop with a tear-off identification strip, route photography (normally available within 24 hours), and toilets near the start/finish area for which Royal Parks charge 20p per use. There are no dedicated changing rooms or showers. Water is provided on the route at the lap point.
Spectators are permitted around the start/finish area and along the route. Personally owned dogs are not allowed, with exemptions for registered medical assistance dogs subject to prior approval.
