The Rubber Ducky Waddle, Staines upon Thames
The Rubber Ducky Waddle is a seven hour Time Challenge held at The Last Hop, Thames Edge, Clarence Street, Staines TW18 4SU. The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames, is fully signed and uses mainly well made paths and tarmac with a short grass section. Road shoes are suitable all year round. The regular course may be altered after a health and safety review.
The event sets a minimum recorded distance of 3 km. A full lap measures about 7 km (4.37 miles) but may change to a 3.28 mile loop. The course includes 3 km and 5 km turn points to allow compliance with UK Athletics age restrictions. Lap counts noted by the organiser are: three laps for a half marathon, six for a marathon, seven or more for an ultra. A 50 km distance is also offered.

Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a rubber duck themed medal and a rubber duck. Distance pins are available for half marathon and longer distances and one pin is supplied on the medal ribbon. The event provides a goody bag with a vegan option, an aid table and drinks at the start and finish of each lap, and toilet facilities at the venue.
