The One 10
The One 10 is an accurately measured and certified 10 mile road race located in the Lake District countryside in Great Britain. The event is named after "The One" whisky and is sponsored by the Lakes Distillery. The route begins and ends at the distillery grounds, following a course through the surrounding rural landscape.
Participants must be at least 17 years old to enter the race. The event is conducted under UKA rules, which include a ban on the use of earphones while running on open roads. The course is not suitable for wheelchair athletes.
The race uses chip timing to track participants, with live results made available online following the event. While registration typically closes the day before the race, entries may be available on the day for an additional fee if the participant limit has not been reached.
