The Old School @ Lincoln Parish Park
The race takes place in Ruston, Louisiana on March 21, 2026, at Lincoln Parish Park, 211 Parish Park Road, Ruston, LA 71270. This is the fifth edition of the event. Current listed entry prices are: 5 mile $40, 10 mile $42.50, and 20 mile $55. Registration uses tiered pricing with scheduled increases on December 31, 2025, February 1, and March 1. Registrations after March 15, 2025 may not receive a race shirt.
Course and event details
The event is an "Old School" style trail run on mud and dirt trails. Distances offered:
- 5 mile
- 10 mile
- 20 mile
The 5 mile course is a half loop of the 10 mile course. The 10 mile course is one loop, and the 20 mile event is two 10 mile loops. There is an aid station at the start/finish area and additional aid stations on course at about mile 4 and mile 6. Timing will be provided by Rad Racing. Food will be served and is primarily intended for 10 and 20 mile participants; 5 mile participants will be offered a pastry or muffin and a cold beverage. RV sites are available at $45 per night and campsites at $25 per night. Sponsors include local businesses. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
