Event Overview
The Old School is a trail running event at Lincoln Parish Park in Ruston, Louisiana. The sixth edition of this event offers three distances on a course that includes mud and dirt.
Distances
The event features three race distances:
- 5 miles: This is half of a 10-mile loop.
- 10 miles: A single loop course.
- 20 miles: Two laps of the 10-mile loop.
Event Details
Aid stations are available at the start/finish area and on the course near mile 4 and mile 6. Timing is provided by Rad Racing. The event includes support from local Ruston businesses and a local charity.
All finishers receive a medal. Food is served at 10:45 AM, primarily for participants in the 10-mile and 20-mile races, while a pastry or muffin and a cold beverage are provided for 5-mile participants.
Pricing and Registration
Pricing is tiered, with price increases scheduled for February 1 and March 1. A shirt is not guaranteed for registrations after March 15, 2025.
