Heritage Classical Academy 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run : Ruston, LA
Heritage Classical Academy holds an annual fundraiser featuring a 1 Mile fun run/walk, a 5K, and a virtual entry. Proceeds will support the school's planned expansion as it seeks to add Second Grade for the 2027–2028 school year; the school currently operates Kindergarten and First Grade.
The event location is The Gospel, 108 Sanctuary Road, Ruston, LA. The course is cross country style and primarily grass.

Registration opens on September 1, 2026 and closes on February 8, 2027. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $30 for the 1 Mile, $35 for the 5K, and $30 for the virtual entry. Registrants who refer five friends are eligible for a $20 refund as described by the organizer. Registering by February 8 guarantees a race T-shirt.
Race packages are available for pickup on Wednesday, February 24 at Calvary Baptist Church, 5200 Hwy 167, Ruston, LA, and on race morning at The Gospel at the address above. Award categories include overall male and female for the 5K and 1 Mile, plus 5K age-group awards for U10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
