Event overview
The Heritage Classical Academy 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run is scheduled for March 7, 2026 in Ruston, Louisiana. The event is an inaugural fundraiser for Heritage Classical Academy. Proceeds will support the school's planned expansion to add 1st and 2nd grades for the 2026-2027 school year; the school currently has a full Kindergarten and intends to add a grade each year.

Course and logistics
The race takes place at The Gospel, 108 Sanctuary Road, Ruston, LA. The course is cross-country style and is primarily grass. Race packages will be available for pickup on Wednesday, March 4 at Calvary Baptist Church, 5200 Hwy 167, Ruston, and will also be available the morning of the event at The Gospel.
Entry and awards
Entry fees listed are $35 for the 5K and $30 for the 1 mile. The 5K will present overall male and female awards and age-group awards in these brackets: U10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. The 1 mile has overall male and female awards.
