Lakeland Paws Whinlatter Tails South is scheduled for Sunday 4 January 2026 at Whinlatter Forest. The event is organised by Green Space Events Ltd as part of the Lakeland Paws season 4 series. Course and race details
The courses use a mix of forest roads and trails on the south side of Whinlatter Forest. Two distance options are offered:
- 10 km with about 380 m of ascent
- 5 km with 200 m of ascent
This south-side route is described as less technical than the Seat How route. Two dogs are allowed on this route and runners may compete without dogs. The event will be chip timed and marked. GPX files for the courses are available for download.
