Lakeland Paws Whinlatter Tails South
Lakeland Paws Whinlatter Tails South takes place on 4 January 2026 at Whinlatter Forest, using routes on the south side of the forest. The event is part of the Lakeland Paws series and is organised by Green Space Events Ltd. The event is currently full and is not accepting new entries.
Course and format
The courses run on a mix of forest roads and trails. Individual starts are used so dogs have space at the start. The south-side route is described as less technical than the Seat How route and allows two dogs per runner. Runners may also compete without dogs. The event is chip timed and the courses will be marked. GPX files are available for download.
- 10k with 380 m of ascent
- 5k with 200 m of ascent
