About the race
The Ol' College Try 24 Hour Ultra is Denver's first 24-hour ultra race, held at the Auraria Campus in downtown Denver, Colorado. Hosted by Rise Again Running Events in partnership with Tall Tales Ranch, the event offers individual races of 6, 12, and 24 hours, as well as relay options for teams. Participants run on a 1/4 mile paved loop with aid stations providing snacks and hydration.
The course direction reverses every 6 hours, adding a unique challenge. All finishers receive medals, and prizes are awarded based on distance covered. Proceeds support Tall Tales Ranch’s mission to build inclusive housing for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
