Event Overview
This event is the 6th annual ASDAsh 5K to Beat Tooth Decay, organized by the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. It will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Aurora, Colorado.
Course and Location
The race features a 5K course with a newly revamped route through a campus. The start and finish line is at the Library Commons at 12950 E Montview Blvd. The event includes a special feature called the "Meatball Mile," which is the second mile of the course. This section is a designated Strava segment, and a prize is offered for the fastest participant on that segment.
Race Details and Amenities
Bib and packet pickup is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 9:50 AM; a photo ID is required for check-in. Parking is recommended at the Julesburg Visitor Lot (Victor St & E 17th Pl, Aurora). Registration includes a t-shirt, raffle tickets, and a goody bag, with a deadline to guarantee a shirt. Awards are given to the top three male and female runners.
Post-Race and Charity
A post-race party will be held at Milieu Fermentation, featuring food trucks, a custom beverage, and the distribution of awards and raffle prizes. All proceeds from the event benefit the Veterans Assistance Grant (VAG), a program that supports veterans' dental care in Colorado through the CU Dental Team Care Clinics.
