Three Creeks Half Marathon : Cherry Creek State Park, Denver
The Three Creeks Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday April 4, 2027 at Cherry Creek State Park in Denver, Colorado. The event offers a solo half marathon and a two person half marathon relay.
The 13.1 mile course follows the banks of Cherry Creek, Windmill Creek, and Cottonwood Creek on a mix of paved roads, paved running trails, and wide dirt trails. Total elevation gain for the course is 291 feet spread over the full distance. Eight aid stations are placed at roughly two-mile intervals and are stocked with water and Hammer Heed; Hammer Gel is provided at miles 6.5 and 10. Toilets are available at the start/finish and at several on-course locations.
Timing is by chip with live online split times at 2.5, 6.5, and 10 miles; overall top-3 finishers by gender are determined by gun time, while age group awards are determined by net time. Cash awards of $200, $150, and $100 are listed for the top-3 overall male and female finishers. Age group awards cover standard 5-year ranges from 19 & under through 80+, plus top non-binary finishers.
Logistics: race parking is in the south lot of Cherry Creek High School; no park parking is allowed. Early packet pickup is offered at Runners Roost Lakewood and race day pickup is at Hobie Hill; a bag check will be available near registration. Entry fees increase in stages up to the listed race day price; relay registration closes before race day. The event policy states no refunds, with partial credit options available for cancellations and a virtual transfer plan if the race is cancelled.
