Event
The Three Creeks Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Cherry Creek State Park near Englewood/Denver, Colorado. The event includes these race options:
- Half marathon - 13.1 miles
- 2-person half marathon relay - each leg 6.55 miles
Course and logistics
The course follows the banks of Cherry Creek, Windmill Creek, and Cottonwood Creek on a mix of paved roads, paved running paths, and wide dirt trails. Total combined elevation gain is 291 feet over the 13.1-mile course. Eight aid stations are located approximately every 2 miles and are stocked with water and Hammer Heed; Hammer Gel is available at miles 6.5 and 10. Toilets are located at the start/finish and on course at about 0.75, 2, 7.5, 8.5, and 10.5 miles.
The relay exchange zone is at the 6.5-mile aid station. A shuttle van will transport runners assigned to the second half to the exchange, and will return first-half runners to the start/finish area. Relay team entries include gender-specific shirts, free race photo downloads, food at the finish, and a finisher medal with an option for free back engraving.
Packet pickup options include early pickup at Runners Roost Lakewood on Friday, April 3 (noon to 6:30 pm) and race-day pickup at Hobie Hill with an on-site bag check. Race parking is in the Cherry Creek High School south lot; follow posted directions from Yosemite/Campus Drive to the park entrance.
Awards and timing
Top-3 overall male and female finishers receive cash awards of $200, $150, and $100 (determined by gun time). Age-group awards and non-binary awards are determined by net (chip) time across standard age categories. Live chip timing with online splits is provided.
