The November Nightmare
The November Nightmare is an eight-day running series held in Telford, Shropshire, from Sunday 1 November to Sunday 8 November 2026. The event offers flexible entry: participants may run a single day, multiple selected days, or all eight days. Each day is treated as a separate race and awards a medal.
Distances offered each day include:
- 8 miles
- 16 miles (described as a half marathon option)
- Metric marathon
- Full 26.2 mile marathon
The week’s Race HQ is The Unicorn Inn, Holly Road, Little Dawley, Telford TF4 3HZ. Routes include a section through Ironbridge, a designated world heritage site. Organisers note that entries can be made for any combination of days and distances and that participants should provide their chosen days and distances after entry.
Single-day entry prices for 2026 are listed between £30 and £40 depending on distance. The event follows an annual format and in 2026 runs as the eleventh edition. Two additional races take place the day before the series starts: the Pumpkin Marathon and the Spooky Halloween Challenge, creating an extended sequence of local races for those who choose to take part.
