The November Nightmare
The November Nightmare is an eight-day running event held from Sunday 1st November until Sunday 8th November in Telford, Shropshire. Each day is run as a separate race; participants may enter a single day, several days, or all eight days. Each race day awards a medal.
Runners choose one distance to run on any day and may vary distances across days. The event route passes through Ironbridge, a World Heritage Site. The event headquarters for the week is The Unicorn Inn, Holly Road, Little Dawley, Telford TF4 3HZ.
Distances offered:
- 8 miles
- 16 miles (metric half marathon as described)
- Full marathon (26.2 miles)
The organiser notes two additional races take place the day before the eight-day event: the Pumpkin Marathon and the Spooky Halloween Challenge, which can be combined with the main event.
