North Wales 50km & 100km
This event follows the North Wales coastline between Prestatyn and Bangor on runnable coastal paths and inland sections. The routes mix long flat stretches along the shore with hills that do not rise far inland, and they pass several local landmarks.
- 50 km route of 53.8 km to West Shore Llandudno with about 2700 ft ascent.
- 100 km route follows the Waymarked North Wales Path with about 8000 ft ascent.
There are six aid stations on the full route and three available to 50 km participants, with locations including Kinmel Bay, Llysfaen, Llandudno North Shore, Llandudno West Shore, Aber Falls car park and Hendre Hall Junction. A drop bag service is provided for 100 km runners at Llandudno West Shore and moved on to the finish. The event provides an event memento and certificate, medical cover, an event map, tracking and chip timing.
Competitors must arrange their own transport from the finish; having a support driver is advised. Parking is available at the start for a small charge. A briefing and a check of mandatory kit will take place shortly before the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
