Event

Moel Famau 24 is scheduled for 15-16 August 2026 on the slopes of Moel Famau in the Clwydian Hills, based at Plas Dolben Farm. The event uses a loop of about 7.5 km with approximately 511 m of ascent per lap. Entrants can choose to take part for 12 hours or 24 hours. Walkers are allowed and there is no minimum number of laps and no course cut-off.

Format and facilities

The event accepts solo runners and team entries. Teams must have each member complete at least one lap. All competitors must enter and exit the course at the designated points so laps are recorded correctly. Support crews may use the camp field but are not permitted on the route.

Facilities at the camp field include space for tents and one vehicle pitch per competitor, feed stations, toilets and showers, covered rest areas, electronic timing and GPS tracking. Finishers receive a medal and a certificate.
