About the race
The Dee Way 120 is a challenging ultra-distance trail race following nearly the entire 120-mile course of the River Dee from Llanwchllyn to Prestatyn in North Wales. The route traverses diverse and scenic landscapes, including valleys, historic villages, and coastal paths, offering breathtaking views and a mix of terrains. The event features a 50-hour time limit for solo runners and a relay team option with changeovers.
A shorter 60-mile race covers the section between Corwen and Chester with a 20-hour limit. Participants benefit from GPS tracking, electronic timing, indoor checkpoints for rest and refueling, drop bag transport, and a beach finish on the North Wales coast.
