The Next Loop at White Barn Farm in Wrentham, MA is a looped trail event built around a clearly marked 3.1-mile (5K) circuit that returns each lap to the same central start and finish area. A fully stocked aid station sits at the central area for use between laps.
The trail surface is a mix of grass, dirt paths, and lightly packed earth. Short rolling sections and modest elevation changes provide variety without technical terrain, making the loop generally runnable while still offering changing footing and scenery across laps.
The format is lap based: athletes complete one 5K loop at a time and may choose to stop after any completed lap. Every completed loop is recorded and honored; there are no enforced cutoffs that remove participants mid-event.
