About the race
The Flynn's Flyers 5k Run/Walk is scheduled for April 17, 2027 at Yip Field in Central Falls, Rhode Island. This is the third year of the event, organized by the Central Falls School District as a memorial to a long-time colleague, coach, and educator.
The course is a mixed terrain scenic route composed of multiple loops; participants complete three loops to reach the 3.1 mile distance. Children may register. For safety and course design reasons, dogs and baby carriages are not permitted.
Registration opens October 2, 2026 and closes April 17, 2027. The registration fee is $35. All funds raised will be directed to the Girls on the Run CFSD afterschool program. Participants receive a race t-shirt and a medal. Light refreshments are provided after the event. Parking is available a short distance from the starting area. The event is planned as a rain or shine activity.
