12th Annual Bridgewater Police 5K and 1M Kids Fun Run
This event is the twelfth annual Bridgewater Police 5K with a separate 1 mile kids fun run, held at the Bridgewater Police Station, 220 Pleasant St, Bridgewater, MA 02324. The course runs through historic downtown Bridgewater and is described as relatively flat and fast.
The course remains the same as in 2014 and is certified by USATF with certification number MA15012JK. The race begins and ends at the Bridgewater Police Station.

The kids fun run is a timed event and participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration. All runners who cross the finish line in the 5K will receive a finishers medal. Children in the 1 mile run will receive a ribbon at the finish. Raffles and awards follow the races.
Capacity for the event is limited to 400 participants. T-shirts are offered to registered 5K participants; registration completed by August 14, 2026 guarantees a size, and ladies sizes tend to run small. Bib pick-up and in-person registration will begin on Friday, September 25, 2026 at the Bridgewater Police Station and will be available again on the morning of the event. In-person registrations must be paid by cash or check; credit cards are not accepted on the day.
Registration pricing listed for the event includes a free 1 mile kids run and a paid 5K entry. The primary beneficiary is the Plymouth County Critical Incident Stress Management Team, an organization that provides peer support, 1:1 conversations, education and training to support first responders and frontline professionals.
