Annual Bridgewater Police 5K and Fun Run : Event overview
This is the twelfth annual Bridgewater Police 5K and 1-mile Kids Fun Run held at the Bridgewater Police Station, 220 Pleasant St, Bridgewater, MA. The course runs through historic downtown Bridgewater, is described as relatively flat and fast, and is certified by USATF (certification #MA15012JK). The course layout has remained the same since 2014.

The event is limited to 300 participants. All runners who cross the finish line in the 5k receive a finisher medal; children in the kids run receive a ribbon at the finish. T-shirts are offered for all registered 5k participants; sizes are guaranteed only for registrations completed by August 14, 2026, and ladies sizes tend to run small.
Bib pick-up and in-person registration are available the day before the event and on the morning of the event at the Bridgewater Police Station. In-person registration payments must be made by cash or check; credit cards will not be accepted on the day of the event.
The primary beneficiary is the Plymouth County Critical Incident Stress Management Team (PC CISM), an organization that provides peer support, 1:1 conversations, education, and training to first responders and frontline professionals.
