Bridgewater Police 5K & 1M Kids Fun Run
This event takes place at the Bridgewater Police Station, 220 Pleasant St., Bridgewater, MA. It includes a community 5K and a timed 1 mile kids fun run. Children in the fun run must be accompanied by an adult or guardian for the duration of the event.

The kids fun run is offered at no cost but requires advance registration so organizers can provide bibs with timing chips. Participants are asked to bring a donation of nonperishable food for local food pantries; please check expiration dates on all donations.
The course remains the same as in 2014 and is certified by USATF, certification number MA15012JK. T-shirts are offered to registered 5K participants; to guarantee a size register by the organizer's deadline. Finishers of the 5K receive a medal; children who finish the 1 mile receive a ribbon.
Bib pick-up and in-person registration are available the day before and on the morning of the event at the Bridgewater Police Station. In-person registrations must be paid by cash or check; credit cards are not accepted on race day.
Awards are presented in multiple age brackets and to the top law enforcement finishers. The primary beneficiary is the Plymouth County Critical Incident Stress Management Team. Dogs are allowed when leashed and owners must clean up after them. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
