India Point Five - 4 x 800m Relay
The India Point Five is a coed 4 x 800m relay held at India Point Park in Providence, Rhode Island. Each team consists of four runners; each runner completes two loops of a designated course in the park before passing a baton to the next teammate. The course sits with a view of Narragansett Bay.
Teams must include at least one runner who identifies as a woman or as nonbinary. The event groups teams into pace-based waves or heats so teams race with others of similar target mile pace. Heats are limited in size, with up to ten teams per heat.
The organizer lists multiple pace categories, including recreational and competitive groupings, and an elite division based on target mile pace. Registration is available for the event date of October 16, 2026; registration opens on August 19, 2026, and closes on October 16, 2026. The stated registration fee is $20.00.
All participants receive a limited edition race shirt; sizes are requested at checkout.
