The Monmouth Mile
The Monmouth Mile is a community based running event on the Jersey Shore held on 27 August 2026 at the campus of Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, New Jersey. The competition will use the academy's new state of the art track.
Multiple races are scheduled, including:
- 1 Mile open race, registration fee $30
- 100 m kids race for 6 years old and under, registration fee $10
- 1 Mile kids race for 14 years old and under, registration fee $10
- Elite Mile with entry standards, registration fee $30
- 800 m Elite with entry standards, registration fee $30
Registration for general events opens 2 April 2026 and for elite events opens 3 July 2026. Registration closes 26 August 2026.
Participants will be seeded into heats based on seed times. Heats are grouped by target times: 8:00 and up, 7:00 - 7:59, 6:00 - 6:59, 5:00 - 5:59, and 4:59 and under.
Elite entry standards are specified for the elite fields: Elite Mile standards are 4:00 for men and 4:40 for women. Elite 800 m standards are 1:48 for men and 2:02 for women. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
