The Monmouth Mile 2026
The Monmouth Mile is a community running event held along the Jersey Shore on the campus of Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, New Jersey. The event is scheduled for August 27, 2026 and will use the academy's new track facility.
Races at the event include the following distances:
- 1 mile main race
- 100 m kids sprint for age 6 and under
- 1 mile kids race for age 14 and under
- 1 mile elite race
- 800 m elite race
General registration opens April 2, 2026 and closes August 26, 2026. Elite entries open July 3, 2026 and also close August 26, 2026. Listed entry fees are $30.00 for the open mile and for elite events, and $10.00 for the two kids races.
Elite entry standards are specified for target performances: for the mile the men's standard is 4:00 and the women's standard is 4:40; for the 800 m the men's standard is 1:48 and the women's standard is 2:02.
