Participants ride a train from the station in Asbury Park and then run back along boardwalks to Johnny Mac House of Spirits. Organizers provide a Santa hat for train riders. Registration must be completed by November 26, 2025 to assure a shirt and train ticket. Due to construction, participants walk around to the south bound side of the station to reach the platform.
