JSRC New Year's Eve Twilight Run
The Jersey Shore Running Club hosts the 23rd annual iteration of its year-end event in Manasquan, New Jersey. This festive tradition takes place on the local beachfront and surrounding streets. The event serves as a fundraiser for the 501c3 nonprofit organization, with proceeds donated to local groups that assist those in need.
Participants can choose from the following options:
- 2 Miles: A fun run and walk course utilizing the beachfront and local streets.
- Twilight Party Only: Access to the post-event social activities without participation in the run.
The course is monitored by marshals at selected locations to ensure participant safety. Due to safety and insurance regulations, strollers, baby joggers, and pets are not permitted on the course. Membership in the Jersey Shore Running Club is not required to participate in the event.
The event hub is located at Leggett's Sand Bar on First Avenue. This venue serves as the site for bib and t-shirt pickup, as well as the post-run celebration. Participants receive a commemorative t-shirt while supplies last, with a guarantee for the first 500 registered individuals. Following the physical activity, a free buffet is provided for all registered participants at the venue. Parking is available on the street and in the parking lot behind the establishment.
