The Mighty Mosquito Trail Festival
The Mighty Mosquito Trail Festival takes place the weekend of July 25 and 26, 2026 in the Honeoye Falls area with activities centered at Stewart Lodge in Mendon Ponds, Mendon, New York. The event includes multiple solo distances, daytime and nighttime 50k options, and team relays across two days. Camping is allowed in the surrounding area and aid stations are provided on the course.

- 50 mile Middle Mosquito solo
- 50k Mini Mosquito daytime solo
- 50k Mystical Mosquito nighttime solo
- 20 mile Medium Mosquito solo
- 10 mile Mercy Mosquito solo
- 5 mile 5 Mile Mosquito solo
- 99 mile team relay up to 6 runners
- 50 mile team relay up to 3 runners
Course formats vary by distance. The 100 mile uses two 10 mile loops in a figure eight with aid stations along the route. The 50 mile uses three loops of about 5.5 miles with guaranteed aid and crew access at those intervals. The daytime 50k covers roughly 33 miles across two laps of each course, while the nighttime 50k runs three loops in a B A B pattern with staffed aid stations and overnight running.
The 100 mile event and other races have published time cutoffs. Relay teams must provide at least one volunteer for the duration of the event and will follow a published volunteer schedule. Shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed after June 24. All proceeds benefit the Blue Foundation. Refunds are not offered; deferral options for the following year are available on request.
