Race with Grace 5K & 10K
Race with Grace is a Thanksgiving day running event in Rochester, New York, hosted at Lakeshore Community Church, 3651 Latta Road. The event uses a revised route known as RwG 3.0, which runs on many of the same roads as earlier editions and continues the event's community fundraising focus.
The event offers these distance options:
- 10K (6.2 Miles)
- 5K
- Virtual 10K
Entry fees vary by date, with tiered pricing and a stated cap of 800 runners. The entry includes a long-sleeve tech shirt; a 1/4 zip upgrade is available for an additional fee and shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations completed by November 1. The 5K entry is set $5 lower than the 10K at each price level.
Packet pickup is available at Rochester Running Company in the days before the race and on race day at Lakeshore Community Church. Timing is provided by a race timing service and finish results are posted online. Amenities include a digital finish clock, a water station at the halfway mark, post race food and refreshments, and a post race awards ceremony held in the gym.
Awards include cash and gift certificate prizes for open and masters categories, additional awards by 10-year age groups, course record prizes, and long-term participation patches. Net proceeds after expenses support C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association. Strollers are allowed with caution on roadsides. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
