Webster Turkey Trot
The Webster Turkey Trot is an annual Thanksgiving Day running event held since 1972 at Parkview Lodge in Webster Park, Webster, NY. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation across two distances.
Distances:
- 4.4 miles (traditionally stated as 4.4 miles though measured near 4.16 miles)
- 2.5 miles
The in-person 4.4 mile course follows the original, long-standing route and finishes with the last quarter mile on grassy trails in Webster Park. The 2.5 mile fun run starts at the corner of Holt and Lake and finishes on the same course used by the longer race; the fun run is chip timed. Strollers, dogs, and headphones are not permitted on course. A bib is required to participate.
Registration and included items are specified separately for in-person and virtual entries. In-person registration includes electronic RFID timing, a choice of apparel or a tote depending on registration date, post-race food, shuttle bus service, live text and email finish results if signed up, a finisher medal, and a digital finisher certificate. Virtual registration includes apparel options subject to registration deadlines, a finisher medal, shipping to US addresses only, online results, a digital bib, and a digital finisher certificate. Virtual participants must submit their 2.5 or 4.4 mile results between November 26 and November 29.
There is no day-of registration. Organizers may change the event date, location, or switch to virtual or cancel; refunds, transfers, or deferrals are not allowed unless stated otherwise. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
