The Feast Thanksgiving Day Run/Walk
The Feast Thanksgiving Day Run/Walk takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Rochester, NY. The event begins at the Blue Cross Arena and uses an out-and-back route through downtown toward the University of Rochester on a course described as flat and fast.
Distances offered include:
- 5 mile out-and-back route
- 2 mile run or walk
- Virtual run/walk with mailed race shirt
- Kid's half mile fun run open to ages 10 and under
Awards are given to top overall, masters, and age group finishers. Top age group and overall winners receive pies from Special Touch Bakery; second and third place age group finishers receive Medved gift certificates. The 5 mile course includes a water stop at the mid-course turnaround; the 2 mile course does not have water on course. Dogs are not permitted due to insurance regulations. Participants may run with a stroller but are asked to start near the back. Race distance changes between the 2 mile and 5 mile events are allowed if registration is notified on race day. Members of The Medved Endurance Project receive a five dollar entry discount.
Packet pickup and related sales are scheduled at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters on November 24 and November 25 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Thanksgiving pie orders are available for pickup on November 24 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. A limited window for race day packet pickup is available at Blue Cross Arena.
