The Midwest Ultra Trail Classic
The Midwest Ultra Trail Classic is the inaugural trail running event held at Knob Noster State Park in Knob Noster, Missouri. It takes place on November 21, 2026, and uses the Opossum Hollow Trail as the race course.
The course is a 10K loop composed entirely of technical single-track terrain. Runners should expect winding forest trails, rolling hills, roots, rocks, creek crossings, and approximately 550 feet of elevation gain per loop. Each longer distance adds another loop of the same course.
Distances
- 10K (1 Loop)
- 20K (2 Loops)
- 30K (3 Loops)
- 40K (4 Loops)

Crew access is permitted only at the Start/Finish area, with no crew access on course. All finishers receive a medal, a race shirt is included with registration, the event is professionally timed, and pacers are not allowed. Registration closes Nov 20 at 11:59 PM CT.
