About the race
The Midwest Ultra Trail Classic is an inaugural trail running event held at Knob Noster State Park in Knob Noster, Missouri on November 21, 2026. The event uses the Opossum Hollow Trail and is run on a 10K loop of technical single-track terrain.
The course features winding forest trails, rolling hills, roots, rocks, creek crossings, and about 550 feet of elevation gain per loop. All runners start together and return to the Start/Finish area every 10K. The Start/Finish area includes a fully stocked aid station, space for personal coolers, and storage for any gear runners wish to keep there; no drop bags are necessary.

- 50K (5 Loops) 9 Hour Cutoff
Additional event details include professional timing, a finisher medal for all participants, and a race shirt included with registration.
