The Midwest Ultra Trail Classic
The Midwest Ultra Trail Classic is the inaugural trail running event held at Knob Noster State Park in Knob Noster, Missouri. Races take place on the Opossum Hollow Trail, a technical single-track course that uses a 10K loop as the base for all distances.
The course is technical single-track from start to finish with winding forest trails, rolling hills, roots, rocks, creek crossings, and about 550 feet of elevation gain per 10K loop. All runners start together and return to the Start/Finish area every 10K. The Start/Finish area includes a fully stocked aid station, access for personal coolers, and space for gear; no drop bags are necessary.

- 30K - 3 loops
- 40K - 4 loops
- 50K - 5 loops, 9 hour cutoff
Crew access is permitted at the Start/Finish area only; crew are not allowed on the course. The event is professionally timed, includes a race shirt with registration, and awards a finisher medal to all participants. Pacers are not allowed.
