American Legion Post 491 5K Fun Run and 2 Mile Walk

The American Legion Post 491 event takes place in Green Ridge, Missouri, on the Katy Trail starting at the Green Ridge Trailhead. The event includes both a running race and a walking option and is organized around community activities in the park.

Packet pickup is available on race day at 205 N Main St, Green Ridge, MO 65332. Registration opens April 1, 2026, and closes September 12, 2026. The registration fee for the 5K is $20.00 and for the 2 mile walk is $15.00. Pets and strollers are allowed on the course.

After the event, biscuits and gravy will be served. The Salute to Veterans Craft Festival will take place in the park with over 50 vendors, including food trucks.
