American Legion Post 491 5K Fun Run & 2 Mile Walk

American Legion Post 491 presents a community running and walking event on Saturday, September 12, 2026, along the Katy Trail, beginning at the Green Ridge Trailhead in Green Ridge, Missouri. The program includes two event options and related festival activities.

5K run, registration fee $25.
2 Mile walk, registration fee $20.

Packet pickup takes place on race day at 205 N Main St, Green Ridge, MO 65332. Pets and strollers are permitted on the course. After the event, biscuits and gravy will be served.

A Salute to Veterans Craft Festival is held in the park with over 50 vendors, including a variety of food trucks. Live music in the afternoon features a performance by the band The Ables.
