Event overview
The Chilly Chili 5K/2K is a run/walk held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Schaumburg Golf Club, 401 N. Roselle Road, Schaumburg, Illinois. The course uses scenic golf cart paths at the golf club. The event offers two distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 2K Run/Walk (not timed)
The event includes a post-race chili lunch and on-site beverage options, including a complimentary beer for participants age 21 and over or a soft drink.
Entry, inclusions and awards
Registration fees are listed for each distance; the 5K fee is shown as $60.00 and the 2K fee is $25.00. 5K registration includes a long-sleeve quarter zip (subject to change), hot chili lunch, one complimentary beer (21+) or soft drink, chip timing, and age group awards. 2K registration includes a 2025 Chilly Chili T-shirt and a hot chili lunch.
The 5K will present medals to the top three finishers in each male and female age group. Age groups for awards are 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 & over. The minimum age to participate is 10 years.
