Event overview
The Liverpool Winter Warmer Run at Croxteth Park, Liverpool (postcode L11 1EH) takes place on 28 February 2026. The event offers three distances: a 5k, a 10k and a half marathon. All races use chip-on-bib timing and finishers receive a medal; a small number of trophies are awarded to winners. The event is organised by The Fix Events and is not UK Athletics affiliated, so results are published via ResultsBase rather than external UKA listings.
Course and facilities
The course is flat and mainly on paths, with one short section on stone/trail. Distances are run on lap formats:
- 5k - one lap
- 10k - two laps
- Half marathon - four laps plus an extra 1.1 km section
The route is described as wheelchair friendly and buggies are permitted, with the caveat about the trail section. Marshals are positioned around the course. The event hub is at the back of Croxteth Hall. Facilities include bag storage (limited), event toilets, refreshments for sale and on-course drinks/snacks.

Online entries close on 20 February 2026 unless the event sells out. Entry prices are shown on the event page. Fundraising for the supported charity Shelter is optional and there is no minimum fundraising requirement.
