About the race
Wigan 10k 2026, the 14th edition, returns on Sunday 6 September 2026 in Mesnes Park, Wigan, Lancashire. This 10-kilometre road race is organized by Joining Jack with HW Moon Toyota Wigan as sponsor. Runners receive a race number and an individual timing chip, with numbers dispatched from August 17 and updates shared via social channels.
The event supports the charity Joining Jack, funding Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy research. Registration is fixed at £22 (£20 with UK Athletics discount) until the first 500 entrants, then rises to £27.50 (£25.50). Entry cap is 3,000; currently 306 registered.
