Event overview
The HW Moon Toyota Wigan 10k 2026 is the 14th running of the Wigan 10k, organised by Joining Jack and sponsored by HW Moon Toyota Wigan. It is scheduled for 6 September 2026 at Mesnes Park, Wigan, Lancashire, WN1 1TU. All runners will be allocated a race number and an individual timing chip. The event’s chosen charity and organising partner is Joining Jack.
Entry and logistics
Entry is limited to 3,000 places. At the time of this listing there are 446 entries, leaving 2,554 places remaining. Standard registration is fixed at £22, or £20 with a UK Athletics discount code, until the first 500 runners have entered; fees will rise thereafter to £27.50 or £25.50 with the discount. Final registration closes on 2 September 2026. Editing details and transferring entries can be done until 1 May 2026. Race numbers will begin to be posted from 17 August 2026.
If the event cannot go ahead, entries will be automatically rolled over to the 2027 event. A virtual event may be offered as an alternative; virtual participants would receive their medal and ordered t-shirt by post.
