Event overview
The HW Moon Toyota Wigan 10K 2026 is the 14th running of the Wigan 10k, organised by Joining Jack and sponsored by HW Moon Toyota Wigan. The race is scheduled for 6th September 2026 at Mesnes Park, Wigan, Lancashire, WN1 1TU. The event’s chosen charity and organising partner is Joining Jack.
If the event cannot go ahead, all entries will be automatically rolled over to the 2027 event. A virtual event may be offered as an alternative; virtual participants would receive their medal and, if ordered at registration, a t-shirt by post.
Entry, fees and race logistics
The event has an entry limit of 3,000. Final registration closes on 2nd September 2026. The registration fee is fixed at £22 (£20 with a UK Athletics discount code) until the first 500 runners are registered; after that fees increase to £27.50 (£25.50 with the discount). At the time of this listing there were 392 entries and 2,608 places remaining.
All runners will be allocated a race number and an individual timing chip. Race numbers are scheduled to be posted from 17th August 2026. Editing of personal details and transferring entries is available until 1st May 2026. Registration fees are paid to Joining Jack and are non-refundable and non-deferrable.
