Event overview
The HW Moon Toyota Wigan 10K 2026 is the 14th running of the Wigan 10k, organised by Joining Jack and sponsored by HW Moon Toyota Wigan. The event takes place on 6th September 2026. The race distance is 10 km. All runners receive a race number and an individual timing chip. Race numbers will be posted from 17th August 2026.
Entries, fees and policies
Entry is limited to 3,000 participants. At the time of this listing 424 places are taken and 2,576 remain. Standard registration is listed at £22.00; a UK Athletics discount code reduces this to £20 until the first 500 runners are reached. After the first 500 entries, fees increase to £27.50 (or £25.50 with the UK Athletics discount code). Final registration closes at midnight on Wednesday 2nd September 2026.
If the event cannot go ahead entries will be rolled over automatically to the 2027 event. A virtual event may be offered as an alternative; virtual participants would receive their medal and, if ordered at registration, a t-shirt by post. Registration fees are paid to the organising charity Joining Jack; refunds or deferrals are not offered.
