Wigan 10k 2026
The HW Moon Toyota Wigan 10k will take place on 6th September 2026 in Mesnes Park, Wigan, Lancashire (WN1 1TU). The event is organised by Joining Jack and sponsored by HW Moon Toyota Wigan. This year marks the 14th edition of the Wigan 10k. All runners will be allocated a race number and an individual timing chip; race numbers will be posted from 17th August 2026 and participants will be notified by email. The event's chosen charity and beneficiary is Joining Jack.
Entry, limits and policies
The event has an entry limit of 3,000 places. Entry fees are fixed at £22 (£20 with a UK Athletics discount code) until the first 500 runners are registered, after which fees increase to £27.50 (£25.50 with the discount). Final registration closes on 2nd September 2026. The organiser states that registration fees go directly to Joining Jack and that no deferral or refund is available. If the event cannot go ahead, entries will be rolled over to the 2027 event; a virtual event option may be offered, with medals and ordered t-shirts posted to virtual participants.
