The Like Father Like Son - Centro 10 Miler
The event is a 10 mile running race held on the boardwalk in Rockaway Beach, New York on August 29, 2026. The course uses two loops along the beachside boardwalk and is described as flat and fast. The race brings together two generations of American runners, including a two time Olympian and American record holder and his son who is an Olympic gold medalist.
In-person registration and packet pick up before race day are scheduled to take place at Tracksmith in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Online registration opens May 27, 2026 and closes August 28, 2026. The registration fee is $95.00 and includes a limited edition Centro Ten Miler Tracksmith shirt.
The event includes an awards ceremony and a post-race party with drinks, beer, snacks and music. There will be opportunities for photos with the featured athletes and an autographed copy of an athlete's book will be available.
