Event Overview
The Lexicon Bracknell Half Marathon is a popular local road race taking place in May in Bracknell, UK. The event is sponsored by The Lexicon shopping centre.
Route
The half marathon starts and finishes within The Lexicon town centre. The route goes through the heart of Bracknell, primarily using roads, footpaths, and cycleways. It features a short section on grass. Runners leave the town centre via London Road and complete an anti-clockwise loop of Bracknell via the Running Horse Roundabout before returning to finish in the town centre.
Race Details
The race village, start line, and information desk are located in Bond Square. The finish line is in Union Square. Participants must be 17 or older on race day. Entry is via an online booking system only, and fees are non-refundable. Due to the course nature, wheelchair entries, buggies/prams, and dogs on leads are not permitted.
Facilities & Access
Participants receive free parking at the Braccan Walk car park on race morning, with no time limit on the stay. The car park is a short walk from the finish. Bracknell railway station and bus depot are also a short walk from the start area. Toilets are available nearby in The Avenue car park. All finishers receive a commemorative medal.
