Run For Your Life : Staines-upon-Thames
Saturn Running presents a themed event held in honour of the book Run For Your Life, with a section of the book set at Jupiter Running in Staines. The book's author will attend as guest of honour and there will be a raffle of some copies on the day. The event accepts runners and walkers.

The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames and is fully signed. Surfaces are mainly well made paths and tarmac with a short grass section; road shoes are suitable year round. Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal; distance pins are provided for half marathon and longer distances. Finishers receive a goody bag with a vegan option. Aid tables at the start and finish of each lap supply a selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items.
The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules. Membership offers a guaranteed entry, a reduced entry price of £10 off standard rates, and a mini medal pin at events attended. UK Athletics affiliated club members receive a £2 discount. The venue is The Last Hop, Thames Edge Court, Staines; parking is available at Bridge Street Car Park TW18 4TP. Number pick up is on the day at registration. A bag drop is available but not secure. Headphones are allowed. Events take place on public footpaths so participants should be considerate of other path users. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
