The Leftovers 10K / 5K Run : Tempe, AZ : November 28, 2026
The Leftovers is a post-Thanksgiving running event held at 101 West Baseline Road in Tempe, Arizona. The event offers in-person 10 km and 5 km distances plus a virtual run option. Registration fees vary by date; examples from the schedule show the 10K at $25 to $30 plus processing fee and the 5K at $20 to $25 plus processing fee.
All participants receive a previous-event finisher medal and a previous-event Dri-Fit tech shirt or tank. Male and female top three finishers in each age group receive awards for race day participants only. Age groups range from 8 & Under through 80 & Over.
Additional event features include chip timing with real time results and race photos, on-site packet pick-up at Road Runner Sports in Tempe and at Kiwanis Park, and a clearance sale of race shirts from prior events for $5 each. The virtual option ships a random shirt and medal to US addresses after the event; items are not returnable or tradable.
The Leftovers partners with Mom's Pantry; participants are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for donation. The event is stroller, walker and leashed pet friendly, and it proceeds rain or shine with no refunds for weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
