The Leftovers 10K / 5K Run
The Leftovers Run is an event in Tempe, Arizona held on Saturday, November 28, 2026 at 101 West Baseline Road. The event is organized and operated by StartLine Racing and includes in-person and virtual participation options. It is positioned as a post-Thanksgiving run focused on running off leftovers and community activity.

All in-person participants receive a previous-event Dri-Fit tech shirt or tank and a previous-event finisher's medal. Virtual registrants receive a mailed shirt and medal after the event; virtual registrations are limited to U.S. addresses and virtual participants will receive instructions by email on how to submit their time. The event uses chip timing with real-time results and publishes photos online. Male and female age-group awards are given to the top three finishers in each defined age group, from 8 & Under through 80 & Over.
Pre- and post-race refreshments are provided in a "Runner's Brunch" that includes items such as granola bars, fruit, water and Gatorade. The event is stroller, walker and leashed-pet friendly. It runs rain or shine with no refunds or transfers for weather. Packet pick-up is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in Tempe and on race day at Kiwanis Park. Mail-in registration is accepted until November 23, 2026 without online processing fees. Day-of registration and packet pick-up carry a set fee and accept cash and credit cards.
The event partners with Mom's Pantry, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that distributes food to families in need. Participants who bring nonperishable food items receive a $5 off coupon toward a future StartLine Racing event; donated items are given to Mom's Pantry.
