Leftovers 10K / 5K Run/Walk : Kiwanis Park, Tempe
The Leftovers event offers in-person and virtual distance options at Kiwanis Park in Tempe. Distances include:
- 10K
- 5K
- Virtual Run
All participants receive a previous-event dri-fit tech shirt or tank and a previous-event finisher medal. Event shirts and medals are from prior StartLine events; participants may trade on site and a clearance sale of available race shirts is offered at five dollars each. Virtual entries receive a random shirt and medal mailed after the event; virtual registrations are restricted to US addresses and items are not returnable or tradable.
The event uses chip timing with real-time results and event photos available online and via a mobile app. Male and female age-group awards are presented to the top three in each age division for race day participants. Age groups are: 8 & Under; 9 & 10; 11-13; 14-17; 18-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80 & Over.
Pre- and post-race "Runner's Brunch" is provided with items such as granola bars, fruit, water, and sports drink. The event is stroller and leashed pet friendly. Packet pickup opportunities are available the day before at Road Runner Sports in Tempe and on event day at Kiwanis Park. Race-related items will not be mailed to no-shows.
