Event overview
The Kilkerran MOK Tri Series is a Triathlon Scotland sanctioned series. Race 1 takes place on 17 May 2026 in Campbeltown. The series also includes events on 5 July 2026 in Campbeltown and 16 August 2026 in Machrihanish. An option to enter all three adult triathlon events is available, with an early bird option until 31 January 2026. Competitors who complete the series receive a special gift at the final event.
Distances
- Junior Aquathon: 150 m swim, 750 m run
- Junior Aquathon: 250 m swim, 1.35 km run
- Adult Triathlon: 400 m swim, 10 km cycle, 2.5 km run
Entries, fees and facilities
Minimum age of entry is 9 years old on race day. Team entries must be teams of three; each team member completes a separate entry and one person is assigned to swim, one to cycle, and one to run. Cyclists must wear a cycle helmet. Competitors should record on the entry form if they are a disabled athlete so organisers can discuss course suitability.
Entry fees listed are: Junior £15.00, Adult £35.00, Adult team £20.00 per team member. A British Triathlon Race Pass is required for non-home-nation members; costs are £2.00 plus service for participants aged 24 and under, and £8.00 plus service otherwise.
Parking is available locally. Showers and toilet facilities are provided. Lockers are available for £1 refundable. All competitors receive individual race mementos and prizes are awarded for category winners, with some spot prizes.
