Event overview
The Hateful 8 Ultra Loop is scheduled for 7 March 2026 at Bridgend Miniature Railway in Aberkenfig, Bridgend (CF32 9BZ), Mid Glamorgan, United Kingdom. The event is organised by Mad Running Junkies. The minimum age is 18 on the event date.
The event uses a 9-mile loop that participants attempt to run as many times as they can within an eight-hour time limit. The winner is the participant who completes the most loops and the greatest mileage within that time.
Course and entry information
The course is mixed terrain and includes a steep hill, a road section with notable views, and a downhill forestry-trail section that can be technically demanding at times. The route description notes occasional additional obstacles.
Entries open 16 April 2025 and close 6 March 2026. Entry options listed are entry only (£50.00) or entry with a t-shirt (£75.00). The organiser lists facilities and services on site including car parking, toilet facilities, a bespoke medal or trophy, a participant bag, hot and cold drinks and snacks, and a medical team supported by event volunteers.
