The Hateful 8 Ultra Loop
The Hateful 8 Ultra Loop is an endurance running event on 7 March 2026 at Bridgend Miniature Railway in Aberkenfig, Bridgend CF32 9BZ, Mid Glamorgan, United Kingdom. The event is organised by Mad Running Junkies.
The course is a roughly nine mile loop. Participants attempt to run the loop as many times as possible within an eight hour time limit. The winner is the participant who records the greatest number of loops and the highest overall mileage at the end of the time limit. The route uses mixed terrain and includes a prominent hill, a road section with notable views, and a downhill forestry trail that can be technical depending on conditions.
Entry is open to people aged 18 or older. Published entry fees are £50 for entry only and £75 for entry with a T-shirt. Registration is handled through the SiEntries system. The event offers an option to purchase XCover which may allow a refund in some unforeseen circumstances.
Onsite provisions listed for participants include car parking, toilet facilities, hot and cold drinks and snacks, a medical team, volunteers, and a bespoke medal or trophy for finishers.
