MTC Afanc

The MTC Afanc is a challenging 39.8-mile ultra marathon held in Wales, starting at the River Wye Activity Centre in Glasbury and finishing at Merthyr Tydfil. The entire route follows the scenic National Cycle Route 8, offering runners a mix of ascent and descent totaling over 4,000 feet. This race is part of the Mount to Coast End to End Challenge Series and serves as Day 5 of the six-day CYMRUN, an end-to-end run across Wales.
