The Hare and Tortoise 8K/5K Run Walk, 1 Mile Fun Run
The Hare and Tortoise event on 11/14/2026 in Williamsburg, Virginia, is a memorial fundraising run and walk held near the zero mile marker on the Virginia Capital Trail, at 2070 Jamestown Rd. - 5K Run/Walk, 3.1 miles, top five overall awards
- 5K Virtual Run Walk, 3.1 miles, submit finish time by 11/14/26, no awards
- 1-Mile Fun Run, out and back near zero mile marker, not timed, no awards
In-person participants receive a custom printed wicking shirt if registered by 11/2/26 and entry into a post-race party; attendees 21 and over receive a complimentary beer. Virtual entrants receive a race shirt when results are submitted by 11/14/26 and are not eligible for race awards.
