Event overview
The Hampshire Hoppit takes place on Sunday, 14 June 2026 at Watership Down on the Hampshire/Berkshire borders. The event offers the following distances:
- Marathon
- Half marathon
- 10K
All courses are single-lap and start and end at Watership Down. The marathon and half marathon include sections of Watership Down, The Wayfarers Walk and The Harrow Way. The 10K is predominantly along the footpaths and trails of Watership Down.
Courses, facilities and entry
Courses reach some of the highest points in Hampshire and are mostly off road on wide footpaths. Occasional quiet road sections will be marshalled. Race services included with entry cover a goody bag, finishers medal, professional race photographs, a keepsake beer glass and a real ale or soft drink, managed road crossings, free parking, chip timing, race and sponsor prizes, and water/feed stations. A Race HQ field will provide beverages and services on the day.
Minimum ages and entry tariffs are:
- Marathon: minimum age 18; affiliated £61, unaffiliated £63.
- Half marathon: minimum age 17; affiliated £53, unaffiliated £55.
- 10K: minimum age 16; affiliated £32, unaffiliated £34.
