Course Information
The Hampshire Hoppit is a trail running event offering marathon, half marathon, and 10k distances. All courses are single-lap, starting and finishing at Watership Down on the Hampshire/Berkshire border. The marathon and half marathon include sections of Watership Down, The Wayfarers Walk, and The Harrow Way, while the 10k course predominantly follows the footpaths and trails of Watership Down.
The routes reach some of the highest points in Hampshire, providing views across the county and beyond. They are mostly off-road on wide footpaths, with occasional quiet road sections that are marshalled.
Entry Information
- Marathon: Minimum age 18.
- Half Marathon: Minimum age 17.
- 10k: Minimum age 16.
Different entry fees apply for affiliated and unaffiliated runners.

The entry price includes a goody bag, finisher's medal, free professional race photographs, a keepsake beer glass, a real ale (or soft drink), professionally managed road crossings, free parking, chip timing, race and sponsor prizes, water/feed stations, and a Race HQ field with beverages and services.
