Halloween 5 and 10 Mile Event : Exeter
The Halloween 5 and 10 Mile Event is a road running event held in Exeter on 25 October 2026. The races start from the Piazza Terracina by the Exeter Canal Basin and follow a scenic route through the Exe Valley River Park.
Participants can choose between two distances:
- 5 miles
- 10 miles which is two laps of the 5 mile route
The course is described as flat and fast. The organiser provides on-course support including water stations and medical assistance. Common finish area facilities include toilets, a recovery area, a water station and a bag store. All finishers receive a medal and results are published via Webscorer after the race.
This event is delivered to raise funds for local sports participation and wellbeing activities. Charity places are available; charity entrants are asked to meet a minimum fundraising pledge, typically between £80 and £100 depending on distance. The event is UK Athletics licensed and participants must meet the applicable minimum age requirement for licensed events, which is 17 years on the day.
