Halloween 5 and 10 Mile Event
The Halloween 5 and 10 Mile Event is organised by Exeter City Community Trust and takes place in Exeter on Sunday 25 October 2026. The race starts at Piazza Terracina by the Exeter Canal Basin and follows a scenic route through the Exe Valley River Park. The course is described as flat and fast; the 10 mile distance comprises two laps of the 5 mile route.
Support on course includes water stations and medical assistance. Finishers receive a medal. Facilities at the finish area typically include toilets, a recovery area, a medical station, a water station, and a bag store. A route map and a certificate of course accuracy are provided by the organiser, and official results are shared via email and on Webscorer.
The event is run both as a public race and with charity places. Charity places ask for a minimum fundraising pledge of £80 to £100 depending on distance. Charity runners who join Team Exeter City Community Trust receive a technical running top, a fundraising pack, access to online training materials, and post event hospitality.
