Shizaru Challenge Day 2
Shizaru Challenge Day 2 is a 7 hour timed running and walking event taking place on Sunday 10 October 2027 near Littleham, Exmouth. The organiser is Running Events Devon and the event carries permit number ARC.
Organisers operate a turn-up-and-go entry system so participants may start at any point during the event's entry window and must complete their final lap within the permitted overall time. The minimum age for entry is 18 and the event has a maximum of 75 entrants. Entries close on 09/10/2027.
Each lap is 5.3 km and follows an out-and-back route along an old disused train line. The course is accurately measured, classified as road, and is run entirely on tarmac. The route is described as undulating. Finishers who complete at least one lap within the permitted time receive a medal; if the event reaches capacity, later entrants will be offered a bespoke medal chosen from the designs available on the day.
Entry categories and fees are listed for affiliated and unattached runners, with options that include or exclude event perks and medals. The event is presented for both walkers and runners who wish to cover one or multiple laps within the timed period. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
