Lone Wolf Exeter 2027
Lone Wolf Exeter is a 24 hour endurance running event held at Exeter Racecourse and through Haldon Forest in Devon on Saturday 9th to Sunday 10th October 2027. The format requires participants to complete one 6.7 km loop every hour; each loop must be finished within 60 minutes to be eligible to start the next loop. There is no requirement to commit to a final distance in advance; runners may stop after any completed loop and have their distance recorded.
The course runs on undulating forest tracks, woodland paths and natural trail terrain. The event base at the racecourse provides an indoor rest and welfare area, shared kitchen facilities including a kettle, small fridge and microwave, toilets, water points and a first aid station. An on-site café is expected to operate during Saturday daytime but should not be relied on overnight.
Parking must be booked in advance; a paid 24 hour parking ticket includes overnight parking and permission to sleep in a vehicle within the designated car park. Space for small personal tents and gazebos is limited and allocated first come, first served. Head torches are recommended for night running and participants must be aged 18 or over.
