Lone Wolf South West 2026
Date: Saturday 10th October 2026. Location: Haldon Forest, Bullers Hill, Exeter EX6 7XR. Meeting point has changed to Exeter Racecourse, Kennford, Exeter EX6 7XS.
The event is a 24 hour looped endurance format. Participants run one circuit every hour and must complete each loop within 60 minutes to continue. On the 24th lap the finish is contested and champions are declared. Awards include a handmade wooden trophy for the overall victor and wooden medals for all participants. T shirts are available for purchase and are distributed on the morning of the event.

The course runs on forest tracks and single track paths with undulating terrain through woodland at Haldon Forest. Facilities at the event base include a café, a large room for changing and resting, toilets, water points, first aid, and basic kitchen amenities. Prebooked parking is offered with a 24 hour ticket that includes one vehicle for overnight camping, whether tent or van.
Practical notes: the event is for ages 18 and over, well behaved dogs on leads are allowed, spectators may watch from the start and finish area, phone signal can be poor in parts of the forest, and open fires or BBQs are not permitted. Refunds are not available after ticket purchase; if an event is cancelled a ticket may be transferred to another Lone Wolf event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
