Halloween 5 & 10 Miles
The Halloween 5 and 10 miles is a community running event organised by Exeter City Community Trust. The course starts at the Piazza Terracina by the Exeter Canal Basin and follows a route through the Exe Valley River Park. The organiser describes the route as flat and fast.

Participants must meet the UK Athletics minimum age requirement of 17 years on the day of the event. Support on the course typically includes water stations and medical assistance. Facilities at the finish commonly include toilets, a recovery area, a medical station, a water station and a bag store. Medals are provided to all finishers. Race results are shared by email and are published on Webscorer.
There are two entry options: charity places that carry a minimum fundraising pledge of around £80 to £100 depending on distance, or individual entry via the event booking page. England Athletics members benefit from discounted entry to UKA licensed events. Entrants who join the organiser fundraising team receive a technical running top, a fundraising pack, access to training materials and post event hospitality.
