Halloween 5 & 10 Miles
The Halloween event offers two road running distances that use a shared route along the Exe Valley River Park. The course starts at the Piazza Terracina by the Exeter Canal Basin and is described as a flat and fast route. The ten mile option covers two laps of the five mile route.

- 10 miles (two laps of the 5 mile route)
Race-day support includes marked marshal points, water stations, and medical assistance on course. Finish-area facilities commonly provided are toilets, a recovery area, a medical station, a bag store, and water. All finishers receive a medal. Race results are published after the event via Webscorer and organiser communications.
The organiser runs the event to support local sports participation and wellbeing activities across the community. Charity places are available with a minimum fundraising pledge of roughly £80 to £100 depending on distance. Participants must meet the UK Athletics minimum age requirement of 17 years on the day of the event. Entrants and charity runners receive event materials such as a technical running top and fundraising resources, plus post-event hospitality as described by the organiser.
