The Great Waterville Marathon & Half is scheduled for August 9, 2026 in Waterville, Maine. The event offers multiple distances and entry fees:

Course and logistics
Organizers postponed the inaugural event to August 9, 2026 and provided options for registered participants: transfer the registration to the new date, allow the organizers to retain the registration fee, or request a refund or transfer to other 2026 races. The start is at the Thomas College entrance sign on West River Road. The described route uses local roads including Drummond Road, Middle Road, Webb Road, Mitchell Road and Vining Drive. Half marathon finishers will end at the Sukeforth Family Sports Center flag pole on the Thomas College campus. Marathon runners follow an extended route that includes a second loop around the campus; signage will direct marathon participants. The course is stated to be USATF sanctioned and certified.
