Waterville Marathon – Full, Half, 10K and 5K Running Festival
Maine Endurance Sports Alliance presents a running festival on October 4, 2026 in Waterville, ME. The event features multiple distances and is in the process of being USATF sanctioned and Boston certified. All courses begin at Head of Falls Park and return to finish across the 2-cent bridge.
The course route heads down Main Street in Waterville, continues toward Fairfield and passes through Clinton and Benton before returning to the finish area. Maps and course details are provided by the organizer.
Distances offered include:
- 26.2 miles Marathon
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon
- 10K Road race
- 5K Road race
Registration opens on September 25, 2025. Listed early fees include $95 for the marathon, $75 for the half marathon, $55 for the 10K, and $45 for the 5K. Some races have earlier registration closing dates while others remain open until race day.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event at THE MAINE EXPERIENCE near the starting area and on race morning at the registration tent. Participants who provide "BOTTLES" may leave them at the operations tent for placement at water stations. A vendor area will be available at the finish line, and nearby parking, lodging, and dining are noted as accessible for participants and guests.
