Events
The event includes four distances:
- The Great Waterville Half Marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km)
- The Great Waterville Marathon (26.2 miles / 42.2 km)
- The Great Waterville 5K (3.1 miles / 5 km)
- The Great Waterville 10K (6.2 miles / 10 km)
Course Information
This is the inaugural event. The start is at the Thomas College entrance sign on West River Road. The described loop course uses roads including Drummond Road, Middle Road, Webb Road, and Mitchell Road, where there is a dead-end turnaround.
Half marathon participants finish at the Sukeforth Family Sports Center on the Thomas College campus. Marathon participants run a second loop of the course, guided by signage around the campus. The full course map will be posted on the organizer's website when finalized.
The course is designed to be USATF sanctioned and certified.
