Indoor Insanity 5K is an indoor running event on Sunday, January 10, 2027, at Colby College, Harold Alfond Athletics and Recreation Center in Waterville, Maine. The event is organized as a fundraiser to prevent lung cancer by supporting radon mitigation in low income households in Maine.

The event uses multiple timed heats so participants can choose a heat that matches their running speed. Heat fields have limits for participant numbers, there is a dedicated lane for walkers, and a separate kids fun run. Ribbons are awarded to winners of the heats and there are door prizes for participants.

Timing is professional and chip based, providing individual lap and finish times with split data for each lap. Hand tally counters will be available to help runners track lap counts; participants are advised not to rely solely on the chip timing company for live lap counts.

Race fees and apparel are stated: the registration fee is $30 per person, race T shirts are available for an additional fee and kids fun run shirts are free. If the event is cancelled due to unsafe travel conditions, registration fees and donations collected will be used for radon mitigations in low income Maine households.
