The Great GO! St. Louis Halloween Race
The Great GO! St. Louis Halloween Race is a two-day fall event held in Eureka, Missouri at Kircher Park. The weekend includes road race distances, a costumed dog walk called the Great PUPkin Run, a costume contest, and a Trick-or-Treat Village in Kircher Park with post-race treats and beer available for participants over 21.
Race distances include:
- Half marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K
- 5K
- 1-mile fun run
- 1-mile costumed dog walk (Great PUPkin Run)
Participants receive a premium long sleeve shirt, a festive finisher medal, a digital finisher certificate, and a post-race treat bag. The event features a live costume contest with prizes from local businesses and a puppy costume contest for the PUPkin Run; leashes are required for dogs in the PUPkin Run. The first three finishers in each age group for the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K receive pumpkin pies. Prize money is awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 10K and Half Marathon: $300, $200 and $100.
Event policies include enforced time limits (Half Marathon 3 hours 15 minutes; 10K 1 hour 30 minutes; 5K 1 hour), allowance of strollers in the 1-mile, 5K and 10K with back-of-field starts, no pets on main courses, no transfers, and no refunds.
